Penguins Recall Brad Thiessen from WBS; Orpik practices with team, travels to Philly.

Due to personal reasons/undisclosed injury Brent Johnson is not able to be in attendance with the team, this means that another call up from Wilkes-Barre is happening. This time though they're calling in for the force field that is known as Brad Thiessen, the number one goalie in the AHL with a .924 save percentage 1.88GAA, 7 shutouts and a record of 32-7-1! All the best for BBJ and his reason for being away during this tough two game stretch. The question now, do the Devils see Thiessen or will he battle Bobrovsky in Philly?

In other news Brooks "Crazy Eyes aka Free Candy" Orpik is back at practice and expected to return to duty on Tuesday against Philly for round 2 at home in Consol. Bylsma hopes to have him back for the last 5-6 regular season games and of course for the full stint of the playoffs. This means that Lovejoy will most likely go back to being either undressed or sharing time with Engelland. This is very good news for the P.K and Defense, as one of the last pieces available to come back to the team is about to be set back into place.

Waiting patiently for Sidney Crosby.

Orpik has broken finger and will miss 4 weeks.

After blocking a shot in the first period of the game against San Jose last night, Brooks Orpik has officially been added to the ever increasing injury list. A list that hopefully is going to decrease after this weekend's games. Brooks had left the game early in the first after diving to block a shot from Marleau. It hit him in the hand and he never returned to the game.

Bylsma after this morning's practice finally let out the news that he has a break in one of his fingers and he is going to miss at least 4 weeks. Thankfully Paul Martin was back at practice this morning and was skating with Letang, it looks like Paul will be in the number one defensive pairing. Thanks to having Niskanen acquired we have a full squad of NHL D'men, so here is hoping Martin can get back into his wheels and Niskanen can get used to the system.

You will be sorely missed Crazy Eyes...

Alexi Kovalev is once again a Penguin.

In Shero we trust...

The once great wingman for the Penguins, has returned after 8 years with other clubs, including international play. He spent time with the Rangers, Canadiens, Senators, and participated in Russian cups and the Russian olympic team. Kovalev played for the penguins from the 98-99 season onto the 02-03 season. He was dished to the Rangers during the 2003 season after 54 games.

Kovalev as a Penguin scored more than 60 points four times, including a monster season in 00-01 where he scored 44 goals and had 51 assists for 95 total points. In his career as a Penguin he has 149 goals 198 assists and 347 total points. Numbers all of Penguins nation hope to see increase now that he will be wearing a Pen's sweater again.

Pittsburgh only gives up a 7th round pick for Kovalev, however if they do get past the first round of the playoffs, and Kovalev plays in more than 50% of the games, he will then command a 6th round pick instead. Kovalev, unlike James Neal is a wingman rental and not long term, Alexei will become an unrestricted free agent after July 1st.

With Letestu, Kunitz and Jeffrey coming back from injury soon and two new wingmen for them to work with, here is hoping they can both get the Center back they really want to play with in Sidney Crosby before the end of the season.

Penguins vs Rangers Game 58 Recap.

I guess you could call that a game... The penguins came out and scored two quick opening goals and things seemed like they were trending in the right direction. Henrik was literally stunnedqvist in the first period and wasn't in shape at all after the two goals. Pens didn't capitalize and keep attacking unfortunately. The Rangers called a timeout and scored 5 unanswered goals until another goal rang through for the Pens during the 3rd period.

Nick Johnson and Brett Sterling tallied goals in this game which is huge for the WBS pens being called up. Penguins need their young guns to come out firing so it was good to see. Deryk "the King of" Engelland scored the first goal for the Penguins in the first period.

There weren't any antics during this game really, not even a fight that I can remember, just a few regular run of the mill penalties. The real controversy from Sunday was Mario Lemieux's statement regarding the state of the NHL after the debacle on Long Island.

"Hockey is a tough, physical game, and it always should be. But what happened Friday night on Long Island wasn’t hockey. It was a travesty. It was painful to watch the game I love turn into a sideshow like that.

“The NHL had a chance to send a clear and strong message that those kinds of actions are unacceptable and embarrassing to the sport. It failed.

“We, as a league, must do a better job of protecting the integrity of the game and the safety of our players.  We must make it clear that those kinds of actions will not be tolerated and will be met with meaningful disciplinary action.
" If the events relating to Friday night reflect the state of the league, I need to re-think whether I want to be a part of it."

This led ESPN and a few other analysts to have a field day over the comments. Saying that Mario is coming on his high horse, and using Matt Cooke as some kind of common denominator for evil in the NHL. First off Matt Cooke is one of the greatest guys in the world, if you don't believe me, check this article out from the Trib:Pen's Cooke gives Unity teen boost in struggle to walk.  That is a good heart warming read. Especially after how badly Cooke has been blasted in the media lately.

December it was all smiles and the entire world was backing the Pens nation. Now it's the Penguins vs the World and preferably, I'll take it this way. It's better being under the radar, especially when your team is absolutely racked with injuries. The greatest thing the team can do this year? Overcome the adversity, the controversy, the spotlight, and come out and win their second Cup in three years.

The Penguins next game will be with the Colorado Avalanche and their re-acquired Peter Forsberg. The game is in Colorado at 9pm on Wednesday.

Nikolai Khabibulin and Chris Neil get into it. Goalies (not) fighting everywhere.

So apparently the past 2 weeks Brent Johnson has made a trend of Goalies not taking anything from anybody. Khabibulin and Neil get into a little bit of a spat today during the Sens vs Oilers game. Apparently Neil kept his cool and I haven't seen any footage yet but this is the fourth altercation involving a goalie in 2 weeks. Brent Johnson vs DiPietro, Tim Thomas vs Carey Price, Brent Johnson vs Haley, and now Khabibulin and Neil.

***Update*** So still no footage but heres some photos of them jawing. In so far as I know, there were no fighting majors listed, so I suppose you can't really call this one a goalie fight, but it definitely still stands, that goalies are not taking any crap from skaters lately.

Good trend I guess for the excitement of it all, but really Johnson is the only one actually hitting people and taking hits.

Can you even call this a Goalie Fight?

I guess for all intents and purposes this is a Goalie Fight. It isn't much of a "fight" though. Price goes for a punch, Thomas goes for the takedown, but Price gets Thomas's shirt over his head and it's game over within about 3 seconds. Just like Johnson's fight only this time not as exciting or manly and brutal.

Tim Thomas just looks too old trying to fight. Too old. This was one hell of a hockey game though in Beantown. like 6 goals in the 2nd period alone. Check the highlights and see for yourself.

Pens call up four new WBS Penguins to NHL line up this morning.

Around 9am four new Wilkes-Barre Scranton Pens got the call up to action for the NHL. Nick Johnson, Brett Sterling, Ryan Craig, and Joe Vitale.

Nick is the leading scorer for the WBS Pens.He has tallied 20G 19A and 10 PP goals.

Ryan Craig has 13G and 20A in 49 games.

Brett Sterling is tied with Johnson at 39points 18G 21A.
Vitale has produced as well putting up 8 goals but also 19 assists.

After Wallace and Tangradi went back to WBS yesterday it was questioned if Kunitz or Asham were coming back but as of practice this morning neither took the ice. These four gentleman will be plugged into the appropriate roles against the King's tonight. Since the entire team isn't too up to speed on the King's game, extra meetings are scheduled to go over tendencies and strategy.

Welcome back to the big time Baby Pens.

Two Baby Pens sent back to Wilkes-Barre.

Eric Tangradi and Tim Wallace are recalled back to WBS Penguins today, but the pair could very well be called up again tomorrow back to the Penguins. It is unknown yet whether Aaron Asham and Chris Kunitz are ready to play yet so the move could only be a temporary one to work out cap concerns. I wouldn't go out on a limb just yet and say that Kunitz and Asham are ready for action based on this move, as there are other prospects like Nick Johnson who could get called up to play for the Pens.

Tangradi still only has 2 points in the 13 games he's played for the Penguins, not producing any points himself in the games he's played filling in, he did however create opportunities for the other linemates. Wallace has not produced in either game with the exception of a fight in his first game back. Still though, keep an eye out tomorrow to see if these two have to drive back to Pittsburgh from Scranton or if they're staying put.

So I heard there were these important games tomorrow.

So, just in case anyone forgot, there is a huge day for Pittsburgh tomorrow going on in a few cities that aren't Pittsburgh. First off, the Penguins are going to face the Capitals at the Verizon Center in D.C at 12:30pm, then of course, there is this little game called the Superbowl, that the Steelers will be a part of.

After the Steelers beat the Jets I was making comments that if you see the Steelers win this weekend against the Packers you can expect the word Dynasty to be coming out of the mouth of anyone who covers football. Well apparently that has already started as the ESPN AFC North blog has a posting about the Steelers being the next Dynasty if they win.

Dynasties... The Steelers were one in the 70's, and if you ask me are well on their way to being a Dynasty in the new era of football. 3 Superbowl appearances in 6 years is no easy feat. Sure the Steelers have not gone back to back unlike those teams of the 70's but they still get there the year afterward. They are definitely one of the most hated teams in the NFL now, simply because of their winning ways. That's alright though, when the Patriots were in Dynasty mode everyone hated them too because of their greatness. It's easy to forget to take off the jealousy blinders and hate something or an organization simply because they succeed where the other organizations didn't, but I digress.

It's hard to deny that Ben Roethlisberger is one of, if not, the most clutch QB's when it comes to 4th quarter come backs, and playoff victories. He has always been in my category of top 5 QB's of the current era, and if he wins this 3rd Superbowl will vault to my top 5 QB's of all time list. Roethlisberger doesn't put up the big fantasy numbers the league looks for now, and he doesn't always make sound decisions off the field, but what he does do, is win games. Many, many games.Whether it be with long bombs to Wallace, play action bootlegs that turn into runs for touchdowns, or handing the ball off to Mendenhall for the rush, he finds ways to dissect the defenses he faces and win games.

At the beginning of the year when Roethlisberger was suspended for 4 games, nearly everyone, except for Steeler faithful, wrote off the Steelers season, most saying we'd go 0-4 or 1-4 at best! Well without Roethlisberger they were 3-1 as we all know, and when he came back he led the team on a war path back to his old stomping grounds, the Superbowl and primetime football. It's almost as if when Roethlisberger makes it to the playoffs he turns on this whole new mode in himself and plays football like a man on a mission.

The Steeler offensive line is going to have a lot of work cut out for it with Green Bay's tendency to blitz, and the insane power of Clay Matthews, who for all intents and purposes should of been born a nordic viking. Woodson will also be blitzing and usually causes problems and turnovers when he reaches out to attack QB's. Steelers O'line wants to win one for Flozell as he has no rings, well you boys are going to have to work hard to earn it. It's good to see Flozell has fixed his false start issues this year and only did it for a bit early on in the season which was excellent to see his improvement from his time as a Cowboy.

The Steelers are a team that worked through the dark times, and forgot about Neil O'Donnell and went on to win 2 Superbowls with 2 coaches in 4 years. Now they're back again and even though they're the underdogs, which is how we like it, are well on their way to the Stairway to Seven and NFL infamy. Don't discredit the Green Bay faithful however, if you ask them they deserve this and the Steelers don't because they've got the most already. Well to the victor go the spoils, not the most deserving. So if you want it, go out there and take it, but until the smoke clears tomorrow, I'll take experience and history in the Superbowl paired with a strong Defense and an Offense with sick sick weapons on it over the Pack attack.

Just remember, Dynasty is going to be a word us Steeler Nation faithful will have to get used to. Good or bad.

Here we go Steelers, here we go. Number 7 by number 7, walking the stairway to 7.

Evgeni Malkin suffers torn ACL and MCL vs Sabres

Pretty sure that lady by Kunitz is crying. I don't blame her.

Well, most of us pretty much feared the worst, except for ESPN but I digress, when Malkin went down after the hit by Myers in the opening minutes of the 2nd period. The Pens have been driving without Malkin, but to get him back only to have him quickly and painfully taken away from the team? No one would of expected that, a bit of a scoring slump for a game or so but not a possibly season ending injury. This is definitely long term IR and it could be career altering in the future after rehab.

Thank god Dustin Jeffrey is still getting lucky bounces and producing. 2 goals against the Sabres already. The kid is filling in very nicely for us and will obviously be long term now that the Penguins have lost Malkin and Letestu at center.

James Harrison doesn't care if you don't like his opinion.

James Harrison... Talk of the league this year due to some not so clean hits, and some clean hits that got fined anyway is still in the spotlight during Media Day. In a league where Harrison gets held on almost 99.99% of his pass rushes and gets .1% of those called against the holding team, Harrison as we all know by now has been fined over 100 large just for the act of doing his job. Well, according to Harrison he has 100,000 reasons why he isn't going to keep his mouth shut about this business with protecting players, yet wanting to add 2 more games for extra revenue.

"Before, I might've been a little more quiet about the fines and everything because I was hoping to get a little bit of money back...Right now, after they fined me $100,000, I have 100,000 reasons to speak my mind."

He knows the league wants just the money, we know the league wants just the money, and for the most part we all know exactly whats going to happen. Either 2 more games are going to get added in or we're probably not going to see football next year, which is an entirely sad concept and I don't even want to think about it.

James Harrison has been to the Superbowl. You might remember he holds the record for the longest touchdown return in Superbowl history off an interception, the media doesn't seem to want to remember this feat of heroism however and continues to ask him about the hits he levied this year instead of talking about his on field accomplishments.

Harrison decided to really let it out again, ""If you ask me a question, I'll give you an answer," going on to say, "I'm not worried about anything. This is a free world. I can say what I want to as long as I don't cuss you or anything else. I can say what I want to. It's my opinion."

Bottom line here? The guy is pissed off, he's had to run through a gauntlet of a season dealing with Goodell, reporters, and players, all trying to tell him to play the game he's played his whole life, differently. You'd probably be a little pissed off too. Hopefully he takes this situation and uses it as a motivator to do something else amazing in Superbowl XLV.

Here we go Steelers, here we go!

This just in, Brent Johnson Breaks DiPietro's Face, DiPi out 4-6weeks.

Had to save it as soon as I saw it, too funny.

So, it's been the talk of the NHL world, two goalies got into a fight and one didn't have a chance. Well, that fight led to Glass Jaw DiPietro to suffer a little bit of a facial fracture. No surprise as he's more fragile than a leg lamp. Johnny law came out, DiPietro tried to fight the law, and the law won. Lesson learned DiPietro, if you don't want to get your world rocked for 6 weeks, don't job Cooke at the end of a game you had no business prolonging.

Pens vs Islanders again in Long Island next Friday.

Better luck next time Rick.

Hungry? Bite into some Fleury Flakes.

What happens when your goalie plays out of his mind after looking like he was going to have the worst season of his career, going to the all star game and working his way back into top 5 contention with the other netminders?

Fleury Flakes is what you get, your own god damn cereal and a t-shirt. Needless to say I'll be getting this.
19.99 buys you a box of cereal and a pretty decently designed T-shirt so get at it Pens fans. Put the cereal with the rest of your memorabilia and wear the T-shirt every time you do anything, ever.

You can get yours here.

Letestu is gone for 4-6 weeks. Malkin back in lineup against Buffalo.

I still find this funny for whatever reason.

Letestu will undergo surgery to his knee and will be missing 4-6 weeks of time, this is another blow in a long line of recent team injuries. The crack in the Test Tube means that the Penguins are now without the services of 3 of their centers, but really Mike Comrie shouldn't count because he ... we won't even go there yet. Sidney Crosby will miss his 12th regular season game on Friday, Letestu will be missing his 3rd game, Aaron Asham his 2nd, however thankfully there is a bit of good news.
Evgeni Malkin has signed with the Pittsburgh Steelers!

Just kidding, but he will be back on the ice against Buffalo and back in the lineup.A much, much, much needed addition to an injury depleted Center corps. Geno practiced hard the past few days and should come out strong against the Sabres at home on Friday night.

Remember everyone going to the game on Friday, bring those terrible towels and keep them swinging. Speaking of terrible towels, check this ridiculousness out. http://twerribletowel.com/

Eric "Big Dog" Tangradi called up to Penguins from WBS. In Line-up vs Isles.

After an AHL All Star Performance and the blow the Pens suffered to Aaron Asham last night against the Rangers, the Penguins have called up their #1 prospect, Eric Tangradi. Big Dog has played in 9 games this year for the Penguins and has 1 goal and 1 assist. Here is hoping he will fill in nicely after practice and come out like Jeffrey with guns blazing against the Islanders. There was no morning skate today for the Penguins but Tangradi, Malkin, Kennedy, and Ben Lovejoy were practicing this morning.

Bylsma was working Lovejoy and Malkin particularly hard on the ice, weight skating and more.

Tangradi on the ice at practice this morning.

Media Day 2/1/2011

So it's Media Day leading up to the Superbowl now that the teams are in Dallas, and so far it seems like it's all smiles and fun for the Steelers. Troy Polamalu's hair has made several appearances so far. Including a resting place atop Brett Kiesel's beard. Both iconic hair styles beard or normal depending on preference, appear to of gotten their own celebrity followings. Troy's hair thanks to the hilarious Head and Shoulder deal he made, and Kiesel's beard just for being an epic lumberjack beard.

Then Hines Ward got in on the bandwagon for Troy's hair and donned the hair for this interview:
Ward was said to look like the return of Rick James, change that press desk to a DJ booth and it would look pretty crazy.

I couldn't find a video to embed but here is Mike Tomlin's first Press Conference at media day courtesy of NFL videos.

There are 5 days until Superbowl 45. I still need all 10 fingers and toes to count down this event because of my excitement for it. Number 7 by Number 7.

Dustin Jeffrey Called Up, Letestu Injured During Practice. Malkin Skates.

Earlier today Dustin Jeffrey was called back up to the NHL, this happened roughly around 11am, unfortunately it wasn't for Letestu. Letestu went down around 11:40am during the morning skate and has been sent back to Pittsburgh with a lower body injury and re-evaluation, he will not be in the line up tonight. It is unknown yet which line Jeffrey will be placed on for the game against the Rangers this evening, so far he is slated to be on the bottom line, but Letestu was going to be on the top line.

Letestu who was the subject of one of the Penguins most recent contract extensions hopefully will not be missing much time due to this injury, as he is very essential to the beginning of this next 10 game stretch. Eric Goddard, who the Pens have been missing for the past 13 games with an eye injury is back in the lineup tonight for Letestu. He has been practicing with the team since before the All Star Break. The Penguins are left with Jordan Staal, Jeffrey, Talbot, and Kennedy at Center with the injuries to Crosby, Malkin, and Letestu.
Here's hoping Goddard doesn't fight anyone yet, but if he wants to make someone smell his armpit again I'm sure he will. That look on his face is priceless. Looks like Brashear is making out with his pit too.

Good news for the Penguins however was that Geno was back out on the ice practicing again today:
The superstar Center still won't be on the ice tonight for the Penguins against the Rangers, missing his 4th straight game. However knowing that he is out practicing is a good sign that the sinus infection and soreness in his knees is getting easier to deal with. Still no Sidney Crosby on the ice during practice, it is unknown when his return will be, he will be missing his 11th consecutive game including the All Star Game.

ESPN and Chris Mortensen, Liars.

So apparently today ESPN's Chris Mortensen decided that he was going to stir up trouble in Pittsburgh insinuating that Dick Lebeau was going to coach Defense for the Arizona Cardinals. First off, who in their right mind, after being inducted to the hall of fame -very emotionally I might add- on his way to a third Superbowl in 6 years, want to up and change teams next season? Secondly, where in the world would Mortensen get this information other than fabricating it in his own mellon? Finally, why in the world does ESPN always feel so inclined to misreport things?

Lebeau shot down the allegations saying to NFL network: "I promise you, if I'm coaching, it will be the Pittsburgh Steelers." Lebeau was also reported by Fox Sports as saying: "With this defense, with this group of men, they'll have to run me out of here." So really, there is the news from the mouth of the man they're trying to pile mud on top of. Steelers or bust for Dick Lebeau.

2011 All Star Game, No Sid, No Geno, who cares?

Yeah yeah, it's the third time I've used that type of title. Anyway, who really is still reading all of this news everyday on Crosby and the All Star Game? Who watches the All Star Game? There is no hitting, barely any defense, and it's got half the heart. If it were a whole weekend of crazy skills challenges and then the Winter Classic now we're talking top billing.

Anyway it looks like both Sid and Malkin won't be joining the rest of the league in the All Star Game. Not too big of a loss in my opinion as both of our guys will get a chance to get to 100%. My guess is that neither of them really wanted to play in it, and are using this as a chance to continue to train and strengthen their bodies for the last 32 games of the season. Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin have both gone through 20+ game playoff seasons, and know the wear and tear that can take on their bodies. This downtime, in my opinion, gives them the ability to rest up in preparation for that.

Would it of been great to see all 4 of our Pen's on the ice against the rest of the guys? Sure, but we're just as happy to see Tanger the write in make it and Flower will get to show his style and flash off. Now what I would love to see, is a shootout against the best goaltenders and the best shooters but in the fashion of kind of like a Dunk contest where style points are awarded as well, think Fleury in the 24/7 HBO Pens Vs Caps show, or from any shootout practice:

I think it would be extremely fun to watch with the added flare and flash from the shooters and goal tenders. Just an idea that's all, probably wouldn't fly though.

Pens gear up for the Isles tonight. Gameday thoughts soon.

Super weekend for the Black and Gold!

Well, what a rush this weekend was eh? First we saw the Penguins come out and play 3 periods of strong hockey against the Carolina Hurricanes without their two supernovas. Then we got to watch them Stillers come out and put up 24 unanswered points in the first half, seemly stamping all of their tickets to the Superbowl only to turn around in the second half and let up 19 unanswered and scare us all half to death! This was one of those games where you "Buy the whole seat but you only need the EDGE!"

This picture sums the weekend up fairly well:
*And as a bonus, heres the video thanks to "Pensareyourdaddy" at thepensblog.com

This isn't the first time Fleury has skated out onto the ice during the 3 stars demonstration waiving a Terrible Towel and wearing a Steelers helmet, this one is currently on my wall from 2009:
There is just something about those Powder Blues...

So I want to talk a little bit about the game. First off, did anyone see Sanchez pick his nose and rub it on Brunell? That's hilarious, if you didn't it's here:

The first half went as phenomenally as you could expect for a first half to go in an AFC championship game. The Jets had spent all week working on Plastering our wide receivers that they forgot we had Rashard Mendenhall. Rashard had a touchdown on the opening drive and 95 yards in the first half. It didn't stop with just Rashard, after a long run in the early going Isaac Redman came out and was dicing the Jets for big gains himself, it was as though we couldn't be stopped on the run in the first half, not so much the second half.

Roethlisberger was playing surgical football up until Maurkice Pouncey went down. This is probably the most devastating of the injuries we've suffered next to Troy and Aaron Smith going down this year. This kid started every game for us, every single one and he came out like a 6 year vet. Making adjustments, reading the defense, and taking up space for Ben. When he went down it just about broke my heart. If we win the Superbowl for anyone this year, it's going to be for Pouncey. Pouncey's been replaced by Jeff Saturday for the pro bowl next week.

Back to Roethlisberger though, I said he played well up until Maurkice went down because well, after that Ben threw 2 picks and fumbled 2 snaps, one of them costing us a Safety and collectively stopping the hearts of thousands of Steelers fans.  I read an article today saying Roethlisberger was clutch... I just didn't see it on the field. While he did only get sacked 2 or 3 times all game, one of them being the botched snap for a fumble. The other came on a key drive that would of eaten off much of the clock, though the Jets did that for us later. In the first half I can assure you Ben could do no wrong, he was on fire and we couldn't be stopped. When we needed a big catch he found Miller for huge gains, someone who wasn't there in week 15.

Speaking of people who weren't there in week 15, where was Troy Polamalu yesterday? I heard his name only mentioned once in the 3rd quarter, and it coincidentally must of been on Sim's mind as well as he remarked about it right after I thought about it, of course, this was after Polamalu finally made a big tackle. He wasn't there during the 3 almost interceptions thrown right at Laamar Woodley and he wasn't near the one that Ryan Clark dropped or the one near Ike Taylor. What does that mean? The Jets spent all week learning how to throw away from the Hair. Didn't stop him from being a factor though because it still kept Sanchez on his toes enough to where he almost threw 5 or 6 interceptions, Defense has to make these picks.

Either way, the Steelers hung on to win the game, and it is largely in part because of this amazing effort by Ike Taylor and good awareness by William Gay to get the fumble recovery;
I remember watching this and saying to myself: "It's going to go to review, and we are going to get this one after that disaster of a call on the opening drive."  Sure enough, Phil Sims read my mind and saw it going to review before it did, and it of course, went under the hood. Thankfully we didn't get screwed over and they realized that the crown of Ikes helmet hit the ball before anything else and caused it to get jettisoned into the air, picked up by Gay and run in for a 24-0 lead before the Jets kicked a field goal.

February 6th is going to be another big day for the Black and Gold of Pittsburgh, Penguins will face the Capitals in D.C at the Verizon Center at 12:30pm, and the Steelers will face the Packers in Arlington, TX after all the pregame B.S is done around 7:30ish. Get ready for our ultimate day anyone who bleeds that Black and Gold. If you didn't get vacation time, or the day off, call out sick we've got a hell of a holiday coming.

Time to get ready for the 4th Superbowl of my lifetime and #7 by #7 for the Steelers this year.
